A coworker and I were talking this morning at work about free shipping on verabradley.com. I told her that we should go in on an order together to take advantage of the free shipping, so we booked a conference room during lunch and perused the website while shopping for Vera!
Wow, what a great way to make it through a Friday after a long week!
We've decided that we'll make this a monthly ritual and we'll call these our meetings for the “Finer Things Club” (from The Office, lol).
Anyone else have fellow Vera buddies at work?

Unfortunately, no VB buddies here for me but it was a past coworker who got me into Vera in the first place.

Sounds like fun! Vera isn't big here at all, but I have managed to get a couple girls I work with into it. Everyone else thinks it's hideous. To each his own! I wish we could do something fun at work, but our management is looking for any reason to fire people so we are all on pins and needles. Needless to say its not a happy place But at least I can access this board from there when no one is around at 3am.

I have several friends at work that I've turned on to Vera. Before Christmas we went together and placed a $600 order on the great sale stuff. I went through Sunshinerewards.com and got 4% back.

None of the girls at work are Vera fans, but my manager always compliments me on my bags

I'm happy to say that I've turned 4 girls at work on to Vera! It's funny because when one of them wants to know something they ask me. They call me the "Resident Vera Expert" 2 of the them are a mother/daughter duo. They are lucky because they share their Vera's. The daughter is my good friend and she is totally obsessed with matching her Vera to her outfits! When she walks in everyday she puts her bag behind her back and I guess what bag she's using based on her outfit! LOL

I work at a University so I see lots of Vera.
My 2 female bosses like Vera, but no one is as obsessed as I am!
They count on me to clue them into what is new, retiring, etc.
My office mate hasn't been into Vera, but she fell in love with the Bali Gold and then when I walked in with my Blue Rhapsody Stephanie she said she might have to indulge!

Mandy, I also work with engineers (I'm not an engineer; I was brought on board to do technical writing/editing, and I now do project management). My office environment is male-dominated and pretty much colorless (our admin got grief when she when she ordered colored binder clips by mistake!). I get comments on my Veras quite a bit from the men at work, but I don't think they recognize the bags as anything unique. They usually comment on how bright or "spring-y" the bag is.

I have a few of my co-workers that are Vera fans :-) We often place combined orders and love looking at the new stuff together.

Can I come work with you or trade you for these guys! I swear I think they hired the creapiest old men engineers ever I wish there were some women engineers!!!

Nope, no Vera Friends where I work... They all like to carry (blatantly fake) Chanel and Coach bags. I'll take my real VB over that, any day!

Just wanted to comment on the colorless part, I just graduated so my wardrobe is still pretty college-y. I am a mechanical engineer, and we had a mechanical department meeting and every person there was wearing white, blue or grey. I was wearing a zebra print dress with hot pint shirt underneath. I always stick out being the only girl.

I'm a teacher and about 80% of the women teachers at my school carry vera. All the men also know what vera is because their wives carry it. We always talk about vera at school!
