I love animals so much and would love to see pics of everyone's pets!I have 2 cats at my mom's house Pirate (grey, she's one year!) and Knack (orange, he's 15!) not the best pic, I'll find a better one later! Then I have a dog and a cat at my dad's Bagel(dog, he's 9) and Hoopla (cat, she's one year!) (*Hoopla and Pirate are sisters we took two from the litter one for each house!) Hoopla just had 3 kittens(8 weeks)!!! This pic is old I think they are like 6 weeks, its so hard to get them all looking! I have a better one comming! There names have changed numerous times! (In order R-L "big boy" or "blaze" or "chara" the Middle one is my fave! She was "little Girl" or "bruce" I changed it to "krejci" (pronounced kray-chee) and last is "baby boy" or "Penny". Yes the names that don't make sense like a boy is penny and the girl was bruce.... that was my sisters doing) And.... my bf's dogs!!! He has two boxers (they are 2 and brothers!) Their names are tanner and zues! They are making sad faces in this pic So I wasnt kidden when I said I LOVED animals!!! I will get better pics of all these when I am home again! [/color]

so...i kinda have a lot of pets...lol i have 3 cats (1 just recently passed) at my mom's house and 4 dogs, 1 cat at my dad's house! i don't have pictures of dad's pets, right now, but i will try to get some the next time i'm over there. until then, here are my kittens! this is michael patrick. yes, he has a people name. lol. i got him when he was 3 months old, from a rescue, and his name at the time was "mike". i didn't like the fact that he had a nickname for his whole name. what if i had to yell at him for something?! lol so, i decided on michael...then i decided he needed a middle name, to really get the effect. ;D hence the name michael patrick. michael patrick is technically MY cat...however, my mom has become so attached to him while i've been at school, i'd have absolutely no chance of ever taking him from the house. sad day. this is bear. he loves vera. he loves it so much, we even got him his own small duffel! lol we've had bear for a few years, now. we "rescued" him from my step-brother's house because he wasn't a fan of their new baby. he is the "personality" in our cat collection...he's constantly talking/complaining (lol) and he loves to get into trouble (knocking over garbage cans, playing in any paper bag he can find, etc)! but, we love him just the same. ;D this is aboo (yes, he's named after the monkey in aladdin). if you think he looks crabby...it's because he is...lol we've had aboo the longest...since he was just 8 weeks old (he's now 14). he's the kind of cat that is very into doing his own thing...and just happens to find it convenient that he lives with people who like to give him bites of cheese and donut (and whatever else happens to be on the meal plate...lol). however, he can be lovey when he wants to be...it just has to be on HIS terms...like, when he wants something. he does this thing where he stands on the kitchen table and, if you walk up to him with your head down, he will bonk his head against your forehead...cutest thing ever! except, you only get so many "bonks" before you have to surrender some kind of treat. lol. this is sneaky. he is our kitty that just passed away. we miss him dearly but we know that he's in a better place and is no longer in pain. sneaky was also a "rescue"...he was passed around from my step-dad's sister, to their father, to my step-dad's nephew and, finally, to us! he had a busy little life! before he came to us he wasn't very sociable but, after he warmed up to us, he became a very sweet and cuddly little boy. ;D he lived to be 18 years old...a long and wonderful life! and here are a few extra pictures that i like... aboo and bear doing their best impression of a set of bookends...lol can YOU find a bear in this picture?! they like running water. i dunno.

This is Seymour, he belongs to and lives with my boyfriend. Closest thing to a pet that I have. He tried to eat my DD Betsy one day and I popped him. He learned not to try and eat Vera after that. He's kind of dumb, but I love him.

This is my kitty, Paisley. She's now 11 years old - wow the time has flown. These pictures are from when she was about 8. At home, we also have a gray kitty named Mitsy and a German Shepard named Estelle, but I don't have any photos of either of them.

I love this thread! I am going to use it to try and convince Paul (db/dfiance) I need a pet. We couldn't get one because our apartment was too small for a dog so we settled for a garden (I always need something to take care of) but now, I think I'd like a cat. We are roomy enough for a kitty cat.

I was never a cat person before. But they really are great pets, you don't have to put to much work into taking care of them (no walking and you can leave them home more then every 8 hrs to check on them!) but they can give ALOT of love and playing back!

My late husband Daniel found what he thought as a little kitten in a dumpster. He thought she might be white or gray under the layers of muck, so he named her Snowflake and brought her in to me. As it turns out, she was actually solid black and about a year old. She was our "baby", and one of the few things that kept me going after Daniel died. Snowflake was the best cat ever, but she died on 2/12/09. Her loss was truly heartbreaking, and one of the worst days of my life since Daniel died. Snowflake's "baby" picture: Snowflake loved to play cards. Or better to say, she liked to sit in the middle of the card came (or whatever I happened to be doing) so everyone would have to stop and pay attention to her! Skip-Bo Champion (note the very smug smile, because she got the attention that she wanted!): Computer Hog: I have ~900+ more pictures of her, but they are on the other computer in my former office (now Sally's bedroom). Sally has had a rough week of missing Brian (in California on business), chicken pox and temporary suspension from pre-K, so I'm not going to wake her up. Zoey (mini Schnauzer) will be 8 on Halloween: Babycakes (or Tuition), my sister's Chihuahua: And last but not least, my guinea pigs, the Notorious P.I.G. - from right to left Guinness, Corona and Sierra Nevada Indian Pale Ale (Cookie for short): All of my personal pets are rescues. I cannot see myself ever buying an animal of any species when there are so many homeless pets waiting in shelters and rescues for new fur-ever homes. I would love to force the worst breeders (especially puppy mill people and the ones that breed more the major pet chains!) to live in the same deplorable conditions that they force their animals into! I hate breeders, and puppy mills, and people/stores that treat animals like loss leaders and sell (unhealthy, inbred) animals for profit, but that's a major rant for another time... I operate an animal rescue in my spare time that specializes in special needs and elderly pets, but all of the homeless fur-kids have been adopted into new and loving homes(!!!!!), so P@PAR is temporarily closed!
