This is where you post those random questions that are on your mind!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My first question: I'm wondering why Thanksgiving Eve is such a big drinking night? I've always read about it on Facebook and such but find it such an odd practice.
I may have a drink once in a while. It is my choice. The Bible is very clear on drunkeness, so I have just choosen not to drink like that. Yes, I may have a drink with friends or family in celebration and Yes I do enjoy it. But I do not understand the cost! My husband and I work too hard for our money to drink it away! My kids, who struggle to make ends meet, buy drinks with dinner when we go out. (even when we pay) 2 beers = the price of a meal some places? I don't get it. I was also raised that if you couldn't do it before midnight, it was probally not something you didn't need to do. My daughter works seconds(3-11) and they all go out and get home 2 or 3 in the morning and then sleep until time to go to work. I couldn't live like that. Sorry for the rant. i do agree about drinking on Thanksgiving eve. It seems weird to me. I guess you have all day to recoup.
I go out thanksgiving eve. Me and all my friends work fulltime and all differnt scheduales! So this is a great night we all can go out together, plus being home from college (graduated in may) you get to run into old friends. I can't remember the last time I went out with all my friends... maybe last thanksgiving eve!!! lol
