Reply is at the top of the original post. It replies to the originator of the post. If you click the quote button, it includes that in a box within your new post so people know what you are referring to if there is a lot of discussion going on.
As you have time, you may want to check out the help button under the VBS icon at the top of the page. There is a section for users to help them learn how to use the board and about all the special features and functions. It has helped me.
