I love to cook too, and although I'm not Italian at all, I found an amazing recipe that my family loved. Definitely real Italian (tasted just like my boyfriend's mom's sauce- so yummy! ) [glow=pink,2,300]http://www.spaghettisauceandmeatballs.com/[/glow] I made it with everything he suggests to add (meatballs, sausage, braciole, and pork chops) but adding that is up to you. Also, try his twice baked garlic bread. It comes out nice and crisp and very garlic-y!

This is a great idea. I know I'm trying to build up my recipe box so any good recipes (that aren't too difficult) would be great! :-)

I have lots of recipes to share, so tonight I will post a super easy dessert- Brownie Sundae Pie! Brownie Sundae Pie (makes 2 pies) 1 box of fudge brownie mix The eggs, water, and oil amounts that the mix calls for 1 container of vanilla ice cream (I prefer natural vanilla ) Hot fudge Line 2 pie tins with nonstick foil, making sure that it reaches up the sides of the tins. Mix the brownie mix as the box calls for, then pour it equally into each of the tins. Bake as directed, until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely. Remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it soften. Using a rubber spatula (or your utensil of choice :-p ) smear the ice cream evenly over the cooled brownie (1/2 the container for each pie). Cover with foil or saran wrap and freeze for at least a few hours. When you are ready to serve simply lift the pie out by lifting out the foil. Fold down the edges of the foil and slice like you would a pie. Heat up some hot fudge and drizzle it over each slice as you serve it. Enjoy! I promise this will satisfy any craving for chocolate or ice cream! I have my entire family and quite a few friends addicted!

Here's a few recipes that I love to make! :-)
Homemade Noodles (my grandma's recipe)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 pinches salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Have a kettle of water boiling with 1 teaspoon of salt and a little oil in it, so the noodles don't stick together. Beat 2 eggs. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder with the eggs. Mix well. Have 1 more cup of flour read to add to the dough as needed. It may take more to make it read to roll out on floured board. ( I haven't had to add any extra yet.) Put down a board and cover with a light coating of flour. Roll out dough as thin or as thick as you would like (the thickness determines how long you need to cook them. For fairly thin noodles, I've boiled for around 20-25 minutes. You really just need to taste them to find out when they are done...if they are still chewy in the center, you need to cook longer).
Skillet Mac and Cheese
- 2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. half-and-half cream
- 3/4 lb Velveeta, cubed
Cook macaroni according to directions. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add cream, bring to boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat. Stir in cheese until melted. Drain macaroni. Add to cheese mix. Cook and stire for 3-4 minutes or until heated. These are just a few of the many recipes I have. Let me know if you are looking for any with any particular ingredients. I have lots of desserts, pastas, casseroles, and side dishes, with some recipes that are specifically for different meats.
