As some of you know, I bought and learned to ride a motorcycle last July. I am a member of the Harley Owners Group and each chapter is pretty close knit. We lost one of our members Saturday afternoon when a 17 year old girl made an illegal u turn in front of him and hit him. He died in the ambulance with his wife by his side, who was also on the bike with him. She was treated and released with minor injuries. There is a safety group called ABATE, I can't remember what it stands for, that has a campaign called "Look Twice Save A Life". Please watch for us on the road! I myself was never concious of sharing the road with motorcyclists until I became one, and now that I know to look for them, see them everywhere. Bob will be greatly missed, he was truly an angel. He always had a huge bear hug and grin for me everytime I saw him. He never let anyone say anything negative in front of him about anyone or anything else. Please keep his wife, children, and grandchildren in your prayers, and remember to look twice!
