it seems to have to do with "connecting to optimization by rubyiconproject.com. I'm talking a good 20 seconds to load each and every page. I want to be a member of this board, but I don't have the patience for this. And I'm on a high-end DSL connection, so it's not on my end.  |

I have DSL as well, and the pages only take about 2 seconds to load, so I don't think it's on the board's end. Not sure why it's taking longer on your end...not sure if anyone else is having problems with load times. Maybe the admin of the board will have a better answer for you!

Haven't received any complaints about loading times, I'm on high speed DSL and the pages take no more than 2-3 seconds to load. The title of the website sounds a little suspicious, check your virus protection and make sure someone hasn't planted something on, branched off of or hacked into your internet connection.
I googled rubyiconproject.com and nothing came up except this post and two random sites.
Sorry for the problem, but I don't think it is due to this board :/

It's better now. I researched it, and it's your ads. The rubiconproject.com is about ads, and a google on it shows this happens occasionally at other boards that have ads brought to them by this website. Hopefully, it will stay better. Not sure what the problem was early this morning. Glad it's over, because that was going to be a deal-breaker.  |
