*Use of the feedback system starts officially on August 23rd, 2009.*
This was created in order to provide our users with a safer shopping and selling experience. Everyone starts off with a CLEAN slate, of 0/0/0, which means no positive, negative or neutral feedbacks.
Please read this entire article before using the system. It may seem a bit tricky & a lot of information at first, but it will be really easy to use in the long-run.
Don't worry! If you ever need help, just PM the new feedback account HERE and a Staff Member will assist you.
When Should I Leave Feedback?
*When you purchase an item and have a good experience
*When you purchase an item and have a bad experience
*When you trade an item to another member
*When a buyer sends you speedy payment!
When should I leave negative or neutral feedback?
*Negative feedback should be left for: Item not received [lost in the mail, sent to wrong address, etc.] Item, arrived not as described, pet dander or smoke odors if this is not disclosed, the item is the wrong pattern or style, the item is not in the condition that was listed (this is up to the buyer's discretion), undisclosed rips/tears/stains, or any other major problems.
If someone fails to send you an item at all [and not because of an error such as the ones listed above], they are considered a scammer and will be banned from the site immediately.
*Neutral feedback should be left for: Failure to ship on time, item not in listed condition (this is up to the buyer's discretion), minor wear that is not listed
If you leave negative or neutral feedback, a reason why is required. We recommend contacting the member beforehand to resolve the issue, but you can, and should, still leave negative feedback if you experience any of the listed situations.
*No one likes to leave negative feedback, but wouldn't you want to know about any potential problems when you are buying an item on an unprotected site like this one?*
How should I leave feedback?
It is going to be really simple to leave feedback. Just PM the account, Feedback! If you are creating a PM from scratch, just type in 'feedback' as the "To"! It's that easy!

Please type either the username, display name, or full name of the user next to 'leaving feedback for'.
For example, when leaving feedback for me, you can type in:

How will I receive feedback?
A Feedback Staff member will PM you from the feedback account. You will receive all of the information listed above in the template.
How do I showcase my Feedback Score?
You can either post it as your 'personal text' (this can be found by editing your profile) or you can list it in your signature.
Is is recommended that you list your feedback in one of these ways:
My VBS Feedback Score:

Those are just a few ideas. Be creative!
Members who receive feedback are required to post it in their signature within 48 hours of reading the PM.
Yes, you can see when someone has or hasn't read a PM! I [Chelsey] will personally go in and edit your signature with your feedback score if this isn't done. I don't want to/like to do edit signatures, but it is required.
What are the consequences of Negative Feedback?
After receiving your first negative feedback, a staff member will contact you via PM as an informal warning. The second time, you will receive a formal warning and perhaps a brief suspension of your B/S/T status. The third time that a member receives a negative feedback, they are officially banned from VBS as a member.
Members will be allowed to ask for their negative feedback to be retracted after 6 months.
Are there any rewards for receiving multiple Positive Feedback comments?
If you earn 10 positive feedbacks from 10 different members and have not earned any neutral/negative feedbacks, your B/S/T Verified will turn into VBS Verified. This shows that you are an honest and loyal seller and will make buyers want to purchase from you! B/S/T verified just means that you are allowed to buy/sell/trade here at VBS.
After receiving 50 positive feedbacks (from any # of members) [with no neutrals/negative feedbacks], you will be upgraded again to a *VBS VIP* which will come with some perks. These will be listed at a later date.
Random Feedback Information
*If a seller gets 2 consecutive negatives or 2 negatives right of the bat, their B/S/T status will be taken away for a certain period of time, or they may be temporarily suspended from the site. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis, which will be discussed by the Feedback Staff.
*Members who have received a negative feedback must have at least 15 positive feedbacks in order to be VBS Verified. Their status will be demoted to B/S/T verified if a negative is received and they do not have 15 positive feedbacks.
*If a user refuses to send a SVF/SVS item, the user will be banned from the website permanently. If the SVS/SVF package is delayed [without any reasonable excuse], the user may suffer consequences including but not limited to a negative feedback.
*Sellers are responsible for getting their buyers to leave feedback.
